A enfermeira forense Heidi Bresee, participou ao lado de Virginia Lynch, Abino Gomes, Vânia baioni, a Vice – presidente do COFEN – Conselho Federal de Enfermagem Irene Ferreira e Zenaide Cavalcanti de Medeiros Kernbeis do 19º CBCENF que ocorreu no período de 18 à 21 de outubro de 2016 de Cuiabá – MT, foi homenageada pela International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN).
Heide Bresee é enfermeira forense em Maryland, no Adventist HealthCare onde é cordenadora e atua com vitimas de violência à 15 anos. Participou da mesa redonda Enfermagem Forense: dimensões e perspectivas no mercado de trabalho mundial, e foi homenageada pelo excelente trabalho como enfermeira forense e brilhante atuação sempre com ética e respeito para e com as vitimas de violência.
Forensic Nursing Excellence
Recently we sent out a call to members to recognize their peers. This Peer Recognition program honors those forensic nurses that are active members of the Association. Many of whom help by providing preventive services, policy development, influencing legislation, and collaborating with other healthcare, social services, and criminal justice system professionals to enhance the care of their patients.
Members of the International Association of Forensic Nurses (Association) witness their colleagues perform exceptional community outreach. We want to recognize these outstanding forensic nurses for bringing awareness to the specialty and compassion to their patients.
